Precision Angular Contact Ball Bearings
We can provide you with the leading ball bearing information
Precision Angular Contact Ball Bearings are also known as machine tool & spindle bearings. These 15° contact angle bearings are manufactured to super-tight ABEC-7 dimensional tolerance standards and can handle very high speeds. They are often mounted in pairs (external surfaces are precision ground) for increased load-handling capabilities. These Angular Contact Ball Bearings are open (no shields), which means they run cool and are easy to lubricate in a properly lubricated system. They have a Phenolic ball cage which is perfect for super high speeds and assists in maintaining the bearing lubricated during operation. The maximum temperature is 140° F.
Angular Contact Ball Bearings are commonly used in Medical equipment, Semi-conductor equipment, aerospace applications, defense and military applications, as well as other industrial applications. These bearings are designed to be used in pairs and pre-loaded against each other to ensure the rolling contact with elements (balls in this case) and races. The pre-loading also ensures that noise is reduced and optimal life is achieved.
These bearings are constructed of 52100 chrome steel which helps with material fatigue life as well as load ratings. 52100 chrome steel withstands high temperatures while also allowing for better raceway surface finish due to better machining characteristics.
